Soundcheck Music & Arts Festival and Friends of the Port Townsend Library present the Lindy Hop Community Dance Class.
🕺🏼 Lindy Hop is a type of swing dance that combines elements of both partnered and solo dancing using a combination of structured movements and improvisation.
The class will be led by local dance instructors Sarah Peller and Michael McCurdy on a pop-up dance floor, to the music of talented local musicians The Jonas Myers Quartet, featuring Jonas Myers on piano, Chris Bickley on sax, Robert Rushing on drums, and Dirk Anderson on bass.
No experience or partner needed for this free, all ages event. Come out and swing!
